I love this scene, it reminds me of the first time I saw a 3D model in a browser applet like this. It's fun to be able to look around and see all the details. It must have taken so long to make all those pokemon

Anyway, to stay on topic, I have Jirachi art to share. A small one, I just edited this sprite: It's the official sprite from the gen IV games, edited to look like Lati.
It is very hard to get the gel effect across with pixel art. I haven't perfected it yet, but here I tried a transparency effect on the mantle and ribbons.

Also I found this sculpture on tumblr that reminded me of jirachi

Welcome to the forum ouma When I went to a restaurant recently, the waitress left a pack of gel pens on the table while we waited to order. I was thinking about shiny Jirachi since there's going to be an event with it in Pokemon Go soon.

That shiny Jirachi video is insane, I had no idea that those games kept save backups. There's 2 save blocks, and every time you save, it saves to the opposite block. That's awesome that saving multiple times actually does something in the game, so many paranoid people are validated


I found this Japanese mascot named Kudamaru that has a star head, the official mascot of a city called Kudamatsu.

just noticed both jirachi's have their eyes shut
loving the use of turquoise/teal in these a lot.

I just found this jirachi "upside-down variant" drawn by maggyo. The eye markings are upside down and there are 2 head-star points and 3 tassels rather than 2 tassels and 3 points and its cute but intimidating somehow
